Dear Granny and Grandad,
Well — we are in. The last box was unpacked this morning and the flat finally feels like ours, if you ignore the crate we are using as a coffee table.
The children have taken to it faster than we dared hope. Nora said her first whole sentence in Spanish this week (to a fruit man, of all people), and Mikel has appointed himself in charge of counting the cables on the big bridge every time we cross it.
We think of you both every day, and we are keeping this little record so you miss as little of it as we can manage. More soon.

With love from all four of us,
